Marketing Strategies
I’m obsessed with marketing stategies, I’m always finding new ideas to get a better service for my clients. You also need to market yourself so clients will be able to find you. But, what is the best option to get clients to fall in love with the things you do? Using marketing word swaps!
It’s all about how you present your product or service. The way you dress, the way you speak, your peak of state, the way your body language is, the words you use, etc. Today we’re gonna talk about easy word swaps you can do, and you’ll find out which words you can better leave behind.
Words can be so powerful, they can brighten your day, they can have an uplifting effect but at the same time, they can ruin everything. Let’s see what marketing word swaps we have here:
Are you ready? Let’s start Swapping!
Problems to Challenge
Problems have a negative effect on yourself, and your ideal client. Seeing things as a challenge gives positivity and excitement!
“Oh, yeah… That’s gonna be a problem” to “Oh, yeah! That’s gonna be a challenge!” What sounds better to you?
Objections to Concerns
Same as the word problems, objections is talking something negative against your client. When you ask instead; “What concerns do you have?” You’re putting yourself even more in the shoes of your clients than when you talk about the objections they have.
Expensive to (Long-term) Investment
No one wants to hear something is expensive. They feel like “spending” a lot of money. Spending is not the same as investing. When you talk about your product as a “long-term investment”, it brings so much more positivity than talking about a product or service being expensive.
Cheaper to Economical
This is one of the marketing word swaps I use the most:
“Actually, in the end, our products/ services are more economical than the competence!” “And I’ll tell you why… Because of A, B, C” Always come up with some benefits of your product.
Prospects to Ideal Client
The word prospect you only should use when talking with your colleagues. For the outside world, talk about “Ideal Clients”. I feel this has something to do with, where focus goes, energy flows. Talking about your ideal clients will attract only your ideal clients! Halleluja universe!
“Have To” to “Happy To”
“I will have to confirm that with my colleague” to, “I am happy to confirm that with my colleague!”. Brings you more joy in your conversations with your clients. Do you agree?
Stop Saying the Word “ONLY”
I’ll tell you why this is dangerous to use in marketing. Because for you €100 for a product maybe sounds not so much. But for another person €50 is a lot already! When you say “It’s ONLY €X,XX!” You can lose the client in 1 second because of the lack of putting yourself in their shoes.
When you say “The product is €100” you can let them decide if they think it’s a lot of money or not. You don’t judge them this way.
Stop Saying the Word “HURRY UP”
No one likes it when people will give them pressure. Especially not when it comes to purchasing a product or service. Let them show the value of your product, get to know your clients, ask a lot of questions… And I can assure you, you will have more success when you’re not that pushy.
Stop Saying the Word “HONESTLY AND OBVIOUSLY”
Here you’re talking for yourself again. You’re giving them YOUR perspective of YOUR view. Does not need to mean they will think and say the same.
While we like to lean on these words. They can make it sound as though what you’ve been saying prior to that HASN’T been honest or truthful. If you’re honest in all of your messaging, there’s no need to call it out by saying “honestly”but this is another one that I know is tough and used all the time, likely more as a filler than anything else.
Hope these marketing stategies were valuable to you. The main challenge now is, to be aware of your marketing words to be able to swap them forever out of your system! Learn here how you can start making money with the best selling digital products!
