When I first started with UGC, I was thrilled to land my first €130 gig after 4 weeks of starting.
But truth be told… in my first 6 months, I made maybe €700 total.
I was doing everything I thought I should do — filming simple videos, editing in CapCut, applying to platforms like Fiverr…
But something wasn’t working. The effort was there. The income? Not so much but I wanted soo badly!
It wasn’t until January 2025 that things really shifted.
Suddenly I was making over €1,500/month consistently. And not just that — a few months later, I landed a project worth €5,000.
So… what changed?
I Stopped Selling “Just UGC” and Started Offering Solutions
Instead of just offering 1 social media-style video, I started thinking like a creative entrepreneur.
I began offering:
- High-quality product demos (with gimbal, pro camera, clean lighting) – I understand of you don’t have this equipment, it’s more difficult, but then start with a phone gimbal. I use this one of DJI and its great!
- Spokesperson videos (yep, me on a freen screen with mic + background like these)
- Unboxings + vertical reels
- Product photography, I found there is actually a huge market in it!
- Bundles of multiple videos and photos
- Custom packages for brands with monthly content (retainers)
- Big big bonus, if you have pets. The UGC pet market is só demanded! Send your pitch with a promo video like this for better results
Suddenly, my €300 video offer became a €2750 bundle of 10 videos, or in my case €5000 for 20 videos.
Brands didn’t blink. Why? Because I wasn’t pitching “just a video.” I was offering them conversion content, strategy, and a partner they could trust.
How I Pitch Brands (And Actually Get Replies)
Forget cold, robotic messages.
Here’s what I do instead:
- I pitch in a super friendly, human tone
- I give a genuine compliment about their product or branding
(“Your packaging is SO on point, I’m obsessed and I just had to reach out.”) - I send them a short video or cute UGC photo of me (with my dog Nala, if it fits the vibe 🐾)
- And I suggest a few creative ideas right away (so they see my value instantly)
Sometimes they don’t reply right away — and that’s okay.
I always follow up after 2-3 days, gently and genuinely, and if they then don’t reply a 3rd time.

If You Want to Earn More as a UGC Creator…
Think bigger than just one video.
Show up as a partner, not a gig worker.
Package your services like a pro.
And most importantly: stay human.
I know how overwhelming it can feel in the beginning, especially when the money doesn’t seem to flow.
But trust me — when you position yourself with confidence and clarity, things shift.
And if I can go from €700 in 6 months to consistent €1500+ months and €5K projects,
you can too.
